Description

A very unique galaxy. Not only has it formed arms after reaching the lenticular stage, but the gas disk itself has been warped and twisted. Even the arms don't conform to the standard model, appearing to have been stretched out like taffy as opposed to the current wave theory of spiral structure formation. Presumably, the smaller galaxy, NGC 3729, is responsible for these contortions.

Pretty standard processing other than using a lesser stretch for the stars as a way of reducing size and number. I also shot quite a bit of Ha for this target, but found that it really didn't add anything, so didn't use it.
